I half expect the announcer/broadcaster girl to be the thief, to tie the two plots together. I feel like currently their feud shown here isn't really on equal footing (with the broadcaster just having stooped to "frivolous" news, while the newspaper girl actively harms peoples' reputations with gossip), so with a reveal that the phantom thief was actually the broadcaster (in my assumption, posing as a phantom thief as a way to generate hot news to drive viewership) it would put them both in the camp of "doing things that are actually kinda bad and they should stop".

Plus, it would make her complaint about Freed's mask here kind of a slight jokey hint, with her being someone who's very knowledgeable/opinionated about good disguises.

Yeah. This story loses the plot faster I lose my self control when it comes to sweets.

I hope that the rest of you enjoy it. But I am just not seeing what is going on anymore or why should I care. We went from evil gods and shards being collected to kill said evil gods. To visiting Japan and for that whole plot to not pay off as the MC refused to learn the skill and gave it to a "random" person to be OP.
