and then proceed to make bebealso they should kiss
Honestly it more depends on where you look and how that vtuber built their fanbase. Vtubers that built their fanbase by doing Girlfriend type streams or creating that parasocial fanbase tend to have the most toxic fans whenever they find out their favourite oshi has a bf/gf.honestly i thought it would be cliché with the fans being mad and a whole drama happening, pleasently surprised to see the fans be wholesome and like "look at her smile she must be so happy", it reminds me a bit of vtubers, where many at the start, well it was the same thing as idols a bit, but now you have like, Vexoria who has a husband, who joins her for stupid jokes, two kids, and nobody (except for assholes who are shunned) complain about it
then again western audiences never had something like the toxic idol culture in japan, i don't know if Japan is still horrible, i mean the audiences, like the general audience, cause of course the industry is always horrible
Man, those are some wholesome fans
I'll take "Things That Don't Seem To Happen" for $400, Alex.Wait, fans portraying healthy distance and respect for their idol's private lives? In MY manga? Blasphemy, but wonderful to see nonetheless.
I don't keep up anymore, but glad to hear that it's getting better. If you look back at 2010-2020 there were several sexual abuse incidents that would come out years later, most of the time involving minors. Every year there would be a couple. Every time they propped up they'd be quieted down pretty fast. For this reason I have basically zero faith left in the industry and I want no part of it, but for the sake of the idols it's at least somewhat reassuring to know that there are people like you out thereNo way there are wholesome fans lol. Glad that this manga shows how industry changed over the years. There are toxic fans, yes, but nowadays the amount of them really decreased. Prolly because fans that actually like their idol will doxx this assholes in no time, also there are much more support now with agencies and psychotherapy. We'll never let anything like Mana Aloe happen again.
i mean yes definitely, but still there's things that are changing, i mean look at projekt melody, her whole thing is that she's both a normal vtuber, and a virtual camgirl, she's done tons of streams, asmr stuff about boyfriends (and other vtubers have done lots of lewd stuff), yet Melody's community is one of the most wholesome , so there is a change in mentality as the newer generations learn and grow, of course the problems will still exist but i'm hopeful for the futureHonestly it more depends on where you look and how that vtuber built their fanbase.
