was it Yakusoku No Neverland / The Promised Neverland . It starts off with the kids separated by walled areas. Also there are other walled off areas and the whole story it basically action. If that is it you'll have to go elsewhere to read it.

At the start to escape they climb over a wall and escape into the forests while being hunted. Later they encounter walls separating them from the safe zones.
