I hope you all aren’t too exhausted from Music Tournament 5.5, because I’m pleased to announce that I, Davidian Millerian of the Afton Family will be hosting this forum’s first Manga Tournament!
Theme: Oneshots.
Rules:
How many oneshots can one person submit?
4, maximum. This number may be altered if participation is low.
How many people can participate?
There isn’t a limit to how many people can participate.
What should I do, as a voter?
Read the oneshots, duh. Don’t just look at the cover, the synopsis, the title, the ratings, the follow count and/or whatever it is that catches your eye and vote based on those.
Can my submission be an anthology?
No.
Can my submission be a part of an anthology?
As long as it has a separate MangaDex page, then yes.
Can my submission be a multi-chapter oneshot?
No. Extras (.5 chapters) are allowed, though.
Are Doujinshis allowed?
Yes.
Can my submission be a pre-serialization of a serialized manga?
Yes.
Can my submission be a continuation of a completed manga?
Yes.
Are Erotica/Mature oneshots allowed?
No, for obvious reasons.
Can my submission be a manhua/manhwa/whatever?
Yes, as long as it follows the criteria above and below:

Who can’t participate?
To maintain some semblance of fairness, the winner of Music Tournament 5.5 (@Manko-sensei) and the winners of Music Tournament 5 cannot participate in this tournament. They are, however, allowed to make comments on the submissions, disparaging, neutral or encouraging.
Edit: Anyone can participate, and I don't discriminate.
Format:
No limit for participants, and a limit of 4 submissions each, with the possibility of that number being changed? Is this just gonna be Music Tournament 5 all over again?

…well, yes, but this one will be slightly smaller.
There will be 6 groups, 6 threads, with room for extra mangas if need be. Each thread will have a poll for the submitted mangas, and members will get to vote for what they think are the best mangas to advance to the next round.
Round 1:
Submissions divided into 6 groups. Voters choose the 4 best mangoes in each group. The 4 mangoes that get the most votes will advance to the second round. If ties emerge (whether 2-way, 3-way or whatever way), I’ll break them myself, with assistance from @Angry_Panda if I need it. This round will last for 30 days, and by the end of it, we will be left with 24 submissions.
Round 2:
24 submissions will be divided into 3 groups, 8 in each. Best 4 advance. This round will last for 15 days.
Round 3:
12 submissions, 2 groups, 6 in each, best 3 advance, lasts for 12 days.
Round 4:
Final 6 submissions will be put into one group. Instead of a top 4, voters will get to pick a top 3, which will be considered the best oneshots democratically (or undemocratically) elected in the tournament. Lasts for 7 days.
There will not be any fakeout rounds to make a specific person vote like last time (cough achoo).
And finally, the one thing you've all been waiting to ask:
What's the prize?
3rd place winners get a mystery prize. Don’t ask what it is. 2nd place winners get a free art commission from @BakedBanana (quality not guaranteed, NSFW not allowed). 1st place winners get both the 3rd and 2nd place prizes, and the opportunity to make @Angry_Panda record an audio clip of him saying whatever sentence you want (within reasonable limits of both him and the forums, of course). And maybe something better if someone else is willing to throw it into the prize pool. If you want to do that, cool, PM me.
There will be 12 threads made in total. Hope the mods’ll be okay with all those…

- It is tagged as a oneshot on MangaDex.
- It is readable on MangaDex. By that, I mean it must have an English translation, and said English translation has not been removed from MangaDex, whether it be from a DMCA, the group behind the translation removing it themselves, or some other reason.
These criteria also apply to manga.
