In the off chance anyone reads this comment in future and is curious about how this series progresses: This series is a chaotic mess of genre's and cliches. It's very similar to the Toaru Majutsu no Index novel series, so if you enjoyed that then you'll likely enjoy this.

There's a strong harem subtext, it's like Index, nearly every arc his harem gets a new member. However only one heroine is clearly in love (There are PoV chapters that explain it), the rest seem to have varying degrees of a crush on him. However the protagonist himself seems to have no interest in them, in part due to almost all heroines being over two decades younger than him (He's 39 while they're underaged). He generally acts more like a guardian figure to them and I don't really see that changing. His most viable love interest is a loli BBA (over 100 years old, likely immortal), but he doesn't consider her a prospect due to her untrustworthiness.
