Mangas similar to Jumyou wo Kaitotte Moratta?

I loved this read and I wanted to find something similar, ie gloomy tone with meaningful (happy if possible) ending. I don't mind if it's not as short and straight to the point as Jumyou. Thanks in advance!

not quite a match, but I've read both and as you progress in the one it kind of reminds me of the other. Only 25 chapters and complete.
