Looking back to how this manga started compared to this chapter, Honami's design has really been improved VERY significantly. It started at chapter 28 too when the sensei said he needed a break so he can improve his style more. And there is a HUGE improvement now. Honami looks not just cute but extremely cute and beautiful too.

welp. Managers friend is Honami's older sister (both have the family name Yano), very clicheed/tropey development, but not really unexpected.

Makes logical sense, if you can accept that this is probably a not large town. Older sister got her friend into manga. She makes a business aroind manga later on.

Older sister probably exposed manga to Honami. Honami gets into it and finds a manga place in town (the manager and older sister probably went to the same school, so they live in the same town).
