Looking at the author's twitter, I've finally realized that the man's entire strategy is to have her make a face, then clip it out of context so it looks like something sexual. I'm guessing this guy's basically made his ideal fetish OC, got paid to draw her, and now he's trying his damndest to get off to his own work while not getting canned. I'm guessing his editors specifically told him to tone it down, and this was his only chance to do what he actually wanted to do. Meanwhile the audience is split on all of this.
