If the immortailty was removed wouldn't they just shrivel up and turn into a skeleton (think of Imu removing Saturn's immortality and killing him).

I think it depends on how the immortality works in universe. Like is their condition paused and they will age normally when unpaused/ life force maintaining their current form or will time catch up with them as you stated?
