There, title fixed.

Seems to be a trend recently, what with blind girls regaining vision and whatnot.
Wonder what series is next to subvert its title completely?
Probably an isekai where it turns out to be Earth all along, or a tensei where the mc wasn't actually reincarnated, he just grew a patchy beard and got lost in the woods.

Was this axed? Is author rushing like a madman to finish his story? Everything's a total mess...
Seems like it, because it feels like it's missing entire chapters with the plot speedrunning, jumping back and forth and revelations out of nowhere.

Well that came out of nowhere. It's a bit odd that he was cared for by someone in the Demon lord's army when his mother is still alive, but it makes more sense that he was taken care of since they might actually be related now.
But since his mom is a magician, and his dad was a demon magician, it seems a bit odd that he was only borrowing magic previously.

What even is this arc. First it hints that MC has always used borrowed powers and has to develop his own and now his (presumed) mother pops up and recharges him?
This part seems kind of inexplicable to me. Is all of his magic coming from the staff? How did the amount of magic stored in the staff last so long, through the entire war so far? Can the staff hold an incredible amount? Like was the grandpa saving some every single day for years? But then his mom recharged it in 1 go, is that going to be enough for the rest of the arc?

The bandits jumping the mom also seemed preventable. In the previous chapter, it looked like the bandits were hit by non-lethal rocks, although 1 guy had his arm cut off. Shouldn't MC have helped his benefactor hunt them down as it's expected the bandits would return? The bandits even implied it as they were running away.

They're adapting this story like it got axed with the pacing~. She's Ike's mother, but they're treating her just like a unimportant side character.

Is it just me, or did the illustrator use AI to paint the volume 11 cover? I was just appreciating the girl in the cover, but I noticed that there's a lot of abstract details. When I compared volume 11 cover with volume 10, it just became more clearer the disparity in detail quality. Are they cutting costs with the story writing quality too? :wowee:

Thank you so much for the translation~ :bocchiwave:

Wait, Isn't Ike a reincarnator?
So, how's he born in the isekai world?
The original two-step formula for reincarnation was always thus:
  1. Die in the original setting.
  2. Be reborn in the target setting.
Some stories just replace the "actual birth and growing up" with "here's you're ready-to-go teen-to-adult body, go nuts", presumably to a) increase the fish-out-of-water factor, or b) get to the "action" quicker.
