@mrmoooose23 actually volume 2 chapters 16-25 (hallway through 26) adapted here. The manga leaves out alot of details, other characters (like the butler and servants), and side-character remarks. The fight at the fortress was also like 1-16.

For those curious, the butler accompanies the trade leader, and she/he gives advice to mc about his marriage to Julia.
There is like 2-3 chapters of Julia explaining her motivation to marrying mc--sum down to gallant knight on a white horse--and trying to get mc to like her.
