Oh good so it wasn't just me, i felt like it was weirdly panelled. The pages are swapped....
I feel like the mangaka doesn't actually understand tactics or medieval warfare. In a previous chapter he had knights in full plate fighting in deep mud after a long march without any issues where they would have been at a completely disadvantage in those conditions. If I recall correctly, it was that same chapter where the mangaka drew catapults backwards. If the MC had any understanding about firearms, he would have changed things up the moment it started to rain.Oh good so it wasn't just me, i felt like it was weirdly panelled.
Either way this chapter part doesn't make sense, when it started to rain he should have retreated the firearms immediately.
they could have attacked immediately after the rain start because the pages are in the wrong order and their might even be missing pages we can't really see if they attacked immediately or not if they did then there is no time to retreatI feel like the mangaka doesn't actually understand tactics or medieval warfare. Considering the other evidence I provided, I'm more inclined to believe the mangaka doesn't actually understand tactics. Another example is how bad the demon lord army's scouts tend to be. It takes a while to prepare to cross a river, especially if you want it to be any kind of organized attack, and there's no way the human army could have hid that many boats during their march or made them without being spotted by a half-decent scout. As the demon army had time to dig defenses, they absolutely should have scouted the area as well. Being taking by surprise is one thing, being taken by surprise by a river assault in an area you have eyes on is just incompetence.they could have attacked immediately after the rain start because the pages are in the wrong order and their might even be missing pages we can't really see if they attacked immediately or not if they did then there is no time to retreat
I remember the human commander looking all smug with his full armored platoon in front, and his trebuchets assembled in the opposite direction in the back.In a previous chapter he had knights in full plate fighting in deep mud after a long march without any issues where they would have been at a completely disadvantage in those conditions.
