@ur2048 everything in this manga is ass backwards
The princess hates the hero
She is feared and loved by the demons
The Demon King is scared of the princess
And for some reason the priest has a crush on the ambiguously aged princess
There is definitely some commentary on lots of things as a whole
Also the pedophile priest jokes have no end in sight (as of the raws lol)

@ur2048 what are you even....
why it even become a "political commentary" in the first place?

The joke is about a monk who cant deal with perverted thought
he again and again try to denied it, but deep inside he kinda look forward to it.
and the princess innocence and her pushy attitude, make it worse.
but in the end it always a miss understanding. and disappointed with him self

That's it nothing more. its just his character.
a common type of ironic jokes.

you probably the only one who think that this is "Political commentary" or something.
then again there's no information about the princess age, its too soon to brand her as child just because she looks like one.

just enjoy it bruh, chill...

How old is the princess again? She's always acted so childish but her (one-sided) talk with the Demon King really shows that she can be mature when she wants to.

The princess's reactions are always priceless. Page 2 is just perfect.

@Disappointed Her age was never mentioned but she should be the same age as the Hero, and he's off on a grand quest. So most likely a young adult.

Tbh i dont think Suya is that young. My guess is she-s at least 19 or older.

Suya has mentioned the demons thought shes much younher than what she actually is. And she already given jobs at the castle. Her working dress implied that shes already passed the legal age.

For me the joke is Demon Priest's misunderstanding that he is a pedo but in actuality he isn't

Why did it even become an actual "political commentary" in the first place?

The joke is about how the often the manga uses the gag setup of the Demon Monk having impure thoughts.
They pull this situation out and out again (to hilarious effect, don't get me wrong here),
but at such a rate that may make one feel as if there was a deeper meaning to this,
with a interpretation (absurdly, and thus humorously) claiming that the manga is political commentary on priests and pedophilia.

That's it nothing more. It's just a joke.
It's a common type of ironic joke.

You're probably the only one who thought my comment was actual "political commentary" or something.
Then again, there's no information about either of our political views, so I guess you can go ahead assume that I wasn't actually joking, and that I would bring up a serious political topic in the comments section of a gag manga.

Just enjoy it bruh, chill...

@ur2048 How old is the princess? I thought she was a little too old for pedophilia. I mean she's always been shown to be a petite girl, not some actual child.

Not really commenting on all the talk before but that she seems about 16ish to me. The way she acts and all with her talk of jobs and such makes me think around that age would fit.

I guess you can still go with the childish allegories but i would say its definitely subtle enough not even i can say for sure if its actually there. It does after all work regardless of pedophilia since priests are supposed to be pure and engaging her in such acts goes against that purity no matter what sense your using. Its like sexualizing nuns.

EDIT: I remember now, she's like atleast 19 or something. They showed it as a point when the 23 year old hero and her were kids.
