Seems I found the one person interested in this side arc.Interesting developments. Thanks for the translation.
So, this is all nothing but flashback? Since a couple of chapters ago Nell was already wounded and pinned down by those attackers. I suppose some explanations were needed. At least it was only two "chapters".
They gonna pin the blame on her or?
Still wanna know what led up to her getting so fucked up. But, the wait will be eternal, won't it.
Thanks for the TL

Saw the raw for next chap:
yes this is flashback (next chapter show the orbs being cracked by an enemy archer sniping them off the other girl's hand which I assume is when the one on Yuuki's side turned red)
short version is some of the birdfolk weren't happy with the chief accepting Nell's alliance suggestion....so they allied themselves with the other demon's side to rebel...
chapter ended with 'oh no the orb cracked' moment
so maybe 1 more chapter before Nell get pinned down (my vote is on the enemy taking hostage, cuz hero)
I can't wait to see that in manga form.Unless they change it for the manga, this isn't a flashback, this is a attack by the guy at the tournament that didn't fight yuki, on the winged tribe because there were many moderates among the winged folk on continuing the human-demon war and he wanted to get rid of the hero and the demons who don't want to continue the war at the same time (and no he's not here, and yes there were traitors among them).
Nell get's severely injured, yuki's orb get's hit and he notices, he goes there, see's nell in a bad state, get's really pissed off and slaughters the attacking demons as ruthlessly as yuki does, if this follows the manga this is also the point that finally sails the ship in nell being in love with yuki btw (takes alot of work unless they gloss it over for yuki on that side though).

Sure, but they're not exactly common. Not sure if she's the absolute strongest, but there aren't more than a handful who can compare."Now you know there are strong humans out there."
Nell's fine, too. But at least Leila's around.I miss Lefi and the gang. And yet here we get birbs and Nell.
It's not the arc that's the problem; it's the release pacing. And the side arc is better than the tournament arc.Seems I found the one person interested in this side arc.
I'd blame them less and more the companies. I've heard enough horror stories about manga work conditions."mangaka" are terrible these days.
You're optimistic.Another reason to look forward to 2024 I guess
