Judging by the credits, the proofreader seems to be different. The redrawer also changed, although that should be unrelated. Looking back, the proofreader changing isn't unusual, but the quality this time certainly makes is seem like there's a significant skill gap with this change. It does give me an appreciation for the work that proofreaders did in earlier chapters though, considering the translater's stayed the same.
I think I'll shelve this chapter for now and hope it gets released with fixes later.
@seekermoc & @redpandamaniacal: That's what happens when you don't have a quality checker, as the credits at the beginning point out (the relevant spot has no name to it).
@starburst98: There is a proofreader listed. What's missing is a quality checker, whose job is the next step after proofreading.
@feha: It's only part of a chapter; that's why it's "23.1" rather than just "23".
Yeah, lack of QC is a problem, but they still listed a proofreader. There's no way a proficient English speaker proofread this. The QC is there to catch any small mistakes the PR (and CL/RD/TS) missed, not to re-PR everything because the primary PR didn't do their job...
@seekermoc: That's a perfectly valid point, but consider the possibility of how bad the translation could have been if there was no proofreader at all.
