well yeah. In the older chapters you see they used to feed their giant demon guard dog thingy with the human prisoners that were elderly and those in poor medical condition until Dou got it hooked on her sandwiches.

Yeah, I completely forgot about the lore of demons' atrocities towards humanity before Dou was born. She may have pacified the demons who abuse and eat humans in the past, but it will be a long road before humanity truly forgives the demons, and everyone becomes friends, or a shorter road if Dou keeps doing what she does best nonstop
