No, Raphael isn't Kuroka's real father, but he met Kuroka's mother in the past. That story appears in volume 14 of the light novel.

I suggest you to reread the ending part of chapter 62.

That's what I meant by my second line, letting them know he is alive will make them want him to return to work.

Also, letting ppl know someone is alive != telling them he is working with a mage

because they will look for him, or ask the close aides of Chastille, people knowing he is alive is gonna change things, specially since she's the leader of one of the factions of the church that was originally commanded by Raphael.
As a comment later mentioned, best choice is taking her with Barbaros teleportation to Raphael without other people learning that too.

She is in fact one of the main characters of this series and incidentally one of the best girl and anyone who says otherwise is wrong 😊

We are in the climax of LN volume 5 and Nephy will still have plenty of times to shine for the next 13 volumes. The monthly wait is what gives you the illusion that she's irrelevant to the story.

You're forgetting some important things here.

- Chastille and Barbatos are the deuteragonists of the story. They're, and will become, VERY relevant characters. And I'll tell you more: without Chastille and Barbatos, there would not be Nephy or Zagan because, among other reasons, Chastille is the reason why Zagan can live a peaceful life with his family. And who is the one who protects Chastille? Barbatos.

- Zagan cares about Chastille, a lot. He says things like "I only care about Nephy and Foll", but he's a really caring person and yes, it's true that Zagan only has eyes for Nephy, and sometimes he acts very selfishly, but Chastille is an ally that he has in high value. Just wait and see how the story unfolds. Both Barbatos and Zagan grew up half of their lives alone and they have their reasons to be the way they were back in volume 1, and they don't know how to show their caring and love to others. Yes, Zagan is learning, yes, is very vocal about his love for Nephy and Foll, but he still thinks he's a bad person (and I insist, he's a kind and caring person).

- Part of this arc is about Chastille and Nephteros, so of course Nephy and Zagan will appear less. You have to let other characters to have their time to develop their arcs. One of the reasons why this story (the light novel) is so good is thanks to the side characters and thanks to, once again, Barbatos and Chastille. This is just my personal view, but my favorite moments about Zagan and Nephy are when they interact with other characters, not between them. Yes, they're cute, but they show more of their growth as a characters when they interact with others.

So please, just have a little more patience. This past chapters are very important to develop Barbatos, Chastille and Nephteros as characters, the relationship between them and to set up future arcs. I promise the next chapters until volume 5 is fully adapted will be really good.

What I said has nothing to do with her being part of the "Main Cast", I'm referring to the family dynamic aka. Zagan/Nephy and Fol as daughter..

If you look at the Spin-off then Chastile and Barbatos are a pairing, rather then her with Zagan, since it's also not a Harem.

Neither did I say she's a bad character, whereever you got that from.

Meanwhile Zagran: Cant speak, now owns a World Reknown Magical Labratory, large income from taxes, and is beloved by his minions, wife, and citizens and multiple archnemesi

Also: Raphael is acting as Head Butler, but hes actually Fol's guardian and acting as her grandpa.
