@SupremeDoc If I have to re-read your statement several times over to get the basic gist of what you're saying, you've either written improperly or my reading comprehension is not up to par. I did not understand him when I first read it, it took several tries and I'm not going to pretend what he wrote was perfectly reasonable english that I should have immediately understood or that it took no effort to make sense of it. Native speaker or not, bad english is bad english. While I applaud his efforts in learning the language so far, I'm not his mother and I don't need to coddle his efforts. So I asked a simple question, would he like to try that again in english, meaning
proper english.
I don't see the point in sugar coating something like that. In comparison to all the things I COULD have said, that one is relatively tame and nothing to get your panties in a bunch over. I doubt it killed him or even cut his pinky and, while I certainly hope it did not cause him any emotional distress, it's a small but pointed criticism and I don't doubt he could handle it. In fact, I'm certain he can and I'm certain he can do better because it is a far cry from the other attempts at english I've seen (even from native speakers).
That being said, here is my card:
Enjoy your day.
