@LemmeLix Even if he tried to learn it...it's not going to be BAM overnight. Learning a completely foreign language is hard...even more so if it's completely different from Japanese.
@TanithG The big problem with the idea of the collar being a magical translation device is simply that, if such magical devices existed, why aren't Mary and Neah already using them?
One explanation is that such devices only translate what others are saying to the wearer but can't translate what the wearer is saying to anyone else. If this were to be the case then Mary and Neah would at least understand what Ren is saying should they be wearing translation devices themselves. Or perhaps they need Ren to wear something to gather the entirety of Ren's language knowledge to add to their translation codex before translation is possible?
@SasazukaIchimashi The latter sounds like a possibility, perhaps the collar would help them analyze japanese or something like that. Welp, not like there's going to be such a convenient tool that would ruin the entire premise of the manga lol.
@botodopo
because when i rains it fucknig pours nigga.
left japan on the last week of august, looking like it was gonna rain ride bus to station literally fucking pouring. everyone who had umbrellas were soaked regardless
the fact that you guys just say "oh the Japanese are overreact to rain haha" clearly shows y'all never experience what "raining" is like in Japan or the islands around it. when it rains it's like god decided to pour buckets of water down at you that shit is no joke
Americans like to be like oh its just rain tough it out, no dude if you "tough it out" in Japan when it rains you will be very very miserable
I make it sound like I used to live in Japan but I actually used to like in Taiwan which is basically the same
in fact I think it rains more in Taiwan than Japan but when it rains it's basically the same
