That face on page 10 feels off. I can't quite tell why, but it just looks wrong. It's not that they gave him cutesy features, or that his hair is so full, but there's just something wrong that's hard to pinpoint.

Also, I wish we'd go back to full chapters. It was already bad with .1 and .2, but .3 has consistently made this a mess of a series to follow due to how short these thirds of a chapter are, making the pacing feel bad. The same problem plagues a lot of other series, but still. It's fine to let it all build up and release as one chapter after all.

Bro is a chublord, but in the panel the artist is trying to make him look cool and noble, which is hard to do when you're a blob. At least that's the vibe I get.

I find it kind of funny, that Otamegane is the one character Kunai had to put the most effort to recruit. (Though position-wise it kind of makes sense).

All others non-hostile characters, male or female (especially females) pretty much quickly went “sasuga Maou-sama” and at least became admirers.

This is so nonsensical. I’m sorry, I usually love this manga but the second the hero actually sees Rabbi village’s progress and happiness, he will fucking fold. His determination here is so misplaced just because he thinks Maou is evil and thus his town and methods must be evil too, so instead of following them, he will follow his own path? Like, good, we get that you want to do work for the people but, when your own country is shitting all over you, why the hell would you not try to see alternatives? Expand your viewpoint? Hello?

He easily could have said, I’ll visit, but I’m not working under you, and boom, problem could easily be solved. But no, he chooses to be ignorant. Smh. He knows Maou is at least somewhat good because he eradicated a future demon lord and set slaves free. It’s just so dumb.

The hero is well meaning but fails at execution. Instead of solving the cause of the people's distress, he's just alleviating the symptoms, which enables even more those responsible for the situation. In short instead of trying to actively cure the patient, he's just pushing on a severe bleeding wound.
Now, if you tell me he's actually just letting people suffer for longer so he can play the hero forever, I'd say it makes more sense.

I think that rather than keeping the tough guy facade, the reason why he's so "harsh" is to ensure that the hero will follow him earnestly.
Instead of sugar-coating it or omitting some details, he's admitting everything about himself and his ideas. This way, if the virtuous hero STILL decides to follow him, or even just work together, he can say things like "I may be a demon lord, but I'm still better than your so-called gracious god, and that's THE HERO's point of view, not mine".
