Here's chapter 49 with barely any Ren even after she got summoned (we'll see her in the next, don't worry). The chapter title "Final Boss Approaching!" doesn't really mean it's the final boss for the whole series, but just for the Euritheis Kingdom, I think?

All names are taken from J-Novel's official English translation of the light novel. The AI translation + my editing produced results similar to the novel. Eyze's name is probably a pun on Eyes, since he's a gatekeeper who looks at gate traffic and he can see "Death". Fun fact: TOOR Scans liberally used "Oculus" as his name in chapter 6. Eyze also saved Eagle from getting gangraped in the same chapter.

I can't remember anything about these characters, can't tell if any of them are returning (excluding Maou & chancellor wit da fan) but I'm glad they're all easily hateable (Jack & gang) or likeable (Eyze, his buddy and the faceless citizenry).

Wow we just got a whole ass chapter on brand new characters that were maybe mentioned but never displayed. I know the entire last chapter was fully dedicated to Ren, but it would’ve been nice to see her interact with the others.

It feels like there's an entire half of a chapter to transition from end of current last to this one missing, because it just jumps to this without any rhyme or reason. >.o

sorry for disappointed you but there is no follow-up of that, even in the novel, he just do another trip to take her back, that about it.
