Thanks for the chapter, but wow this manga is really kind of screwing things up compared to the LN. I know you kind of need to compress things a bit, but right now they really seem to be speedrunning things.
In the novel they spend a lot longer slowly exploring the maze. It's a lot of page count, but Note finally gets to step-up and use those skills he's been training to keep them both safe and undetected. I know the manga mentions "last few days", but in the novel it's 2 solid months of having to live in the maze before they gamble on trying to evade the boss.
@Vaan_Aura One page one I feel like pessimistic would be better than defeatist, although I've never translated a manga before so I'm not sure if it would fit.
