@noradaimio I don't think it just happened out of nowhere though. I'm sure there was a time where he did play with her in a period of weakness, but later realized what he was doing. But I still fault him, he's fucking 40ish years old, she's barely in her 20's with a fuckload of daddy issues. Not saying she doesn't share in the fault, but he's not innocent either.

Also something worth noting on the Goto-Kyoko situation... something Yanagihara said the previous chapter, "Don't make Koda cry too much," told me he knew what was going on. Pretty sure he was referring to Kyoko- though I suppose there's a possibility it was about her father, I highly doubt it.

Feels like their 'relationship' isn't exactly a secret, at least within certain circles.

Another thing to note is that she was already involved with him by the time Rei moved out, likely soon after he became a pro when he was 15 (thinking of the flashback where she talks about 'moving in with that guy', and Rei basically interjects with the idea of him moving out instead, since 'no one will miss me' or something to that effect). We know that Kyoko is supposed to be only about four years older than him, meaning she was no older than 19 when she was first getting involved with Goto. Just something I figured I'd point out.
