Told you lol.

TBH that was some very smart play from Takahashi. Not surprising from this mangaka, but our baseball player has character depth and isn't a moron. Sigh... it's refreshing.

I always like the middle schooler or in general kid insults like "x likes opposite sex" , i mean that probably is a legit insult someone has said to someone in middle school somewhere, but it's like what can you even say to that like yeah cunt that's how you reproduce.

I dunno bullying and that shit is so bizzarre, it's so often about either party being insecure about themselves from what i have seen. Just reminded me of the childish banter me and my mates would throw around at school, it follows the same kind of logic it's always about changing the logic to be opposite of what the other is trying to do. So if you start a banter like "you're gay", and usually the other party would turn it around to be basically "no u", and then the other flips their logic and basically admits being gay and so on. My favorite banter response to that is to say "yeah, wanna fuck?". With banter i know some cant do it but the trick is to just not give a shit in banter, since well by definition banter isnt friendly, if it isnt it's bullying, and the line can be quite weird sometimes between them. But my tactic in banter is to escalate it to the extremes, be as digusting as possible and as serious as possible when you say it, you get some nice reactions sometimes.

Of course only do that with friends yeah.

To be honest with some people in the past i could not tell whether their banter was friendly or not, or if they were just out right sociopaths, i still followed kind of same principle of being chill about it doe. But even then it was quite bruh when they were waving about with sharp object in my face, possibly due to their sick sense of humor. Besides that i dont think i ever got bullied, in middle school i just couldnt take banter so it felt like i was bullied at times, but it wasnt really that. Not to say they were good friends, they were aboslute cunts lmao, but they were alright at times.

"When life gives you lemons, don’t make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don’t want your damn lemons, what the hell am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life’s manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I’m the man who’s gonna burn your house down! With the lemons! I’m gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"

Hinata is strong. She's getting right pissed. She's not caving in. She won't give in. Unfortunately, things are just going to escalate, and you can see it's having a negative effect on the homeroom teacher as she tries to sweep it under the rug and the perpetrators and Hinata won't let her.

To be fair, I have foreknowledge from watching the anime, but... this class is going to have a rude awakening. And we're still several chapters from things turning around, and a decent amount of Shogi, as well, between here and there.

I have always been under an impression possessing friends is the best vaccination against bullying. Of course being so scary nobody would dream of bullying you might be even better, but that would be talking about one in a hundred thousand people. It's peculiar Hinata doesn't seem to possess any real friends going to the same school. What she seemed to have were some schoolmates, with whom she associated only when at school, but that's it. They abandoned her when the bullies chose her as the name target. That's not so surprising since they weren't real friends. Considering Hinata's personality, you'd think she would have made a few friends as well.
