The baseball player dude might be tall and handsome, but Rei is steadily gaining ground, I imagine. Especially since Hina is looking up to Takahashi kind of like an idol admiration sort of way. Of course he has been keeping her company now at school, during lunch breaks, but I wonder if that has really done anything to boost her romantic feelings toward him. It would make her view him as more reliable, if nothing else, but the problem is the school has a strong negative atmosphere for Hina right now, so it'd be pretty hard for her to get into any sort of positive mood there.
