All hail the Goddess of fanservice. I like the military stuff but with the elf ears everything is even better.
Though it's a little strange that near to Dushanbe there is some shady military base because, well... it is still the Russian zone of influence.
Also it's cool that the airport is actually the old one with the Russian building sign. Lately it was changed to the Tajik one.

Also, you'd think he would've caught at least some of the words the elf was saying. Like "[anime character name]" or just the word "anime" at least. Probably just didn't care enough to pay attention lol
