Hello everyone. I am the translator for this manga. I want to apologise for chapters 56 and 57. 56 really lacked the quality controll thay was needed and 57 was published waaaaay too early. Pretty sure the only way she lets them go is if they repented. And the trials are made under the assumption that their rotten nature would self sabotage themselves. Admittedly this one was goofy that it required rain just to fuck with him a bit more.

It was planned. By checking the forecast she laid the trap for him, for Maria knew he would choose the least inconvenient route for him, specially if meant sacrificing everyone else for that . The "cheat choices" were crafted specifically with this in mind and he took the bait because he's shit like that.
Maria has proven so far to be meticulous and knowing her targets scaringly well, specially their faults. This is no different.

I think she would have. All she wants is for them to admit that they did something terrible and that they have reflected on their actions. If he was actually listening to what she was saying, making a choice was probably the most optimal path out as he had a 67% chance to leave unharmed. Thinking he had a way out is what burned him but he keeps doubling down and attacking her dead son as if there won't be any punishment.

One small caveat - artist got sloppy. First when he reads the soaking envelopes its I - Leave unharmed but surrender, III - sleep with the fishes. But when Maria takes the stickers off, their numbers swapped. Smoll thing that in bigger picture doesn't really matter, but my OCD hates shit like tha

I am very sorry but my team is very new to this. I wanted to translate it but we simply do not have the capabilities of doing it. I asked our typesetter if he can do it and he said no. It's definitely harder than a normal black and white page.
