Dude still doesn't spiral- now he sees his wife (heavy indication he knows) that changed her looks and had to do sexual favors for this fat scum in front of him and he still manages to feel for her.

He is him and I hope the story goes full throttle now with him going all out.

Bro that's her WHOLE husband, she's not putting anything on the line even if she does what you're asking of her. If anything, it might turn into a much needed family reunion/reconciliation, and maybe we get to see Mama Maria have some hot, steamy, sweaty sex with her ex-husband, which would finally be the first lewding of Maria that I'd fully support and be on board with in this series lol.

Besides, like Maria said, there are much bigger problems/clashes that are happening in this complex junction of Maria, Okaya, and Taiichirou and their own respective agendas in this meeting that he has no idea about because he's a simple fool being played like a puppet by all sides as they subtly try to assert their own control over the situation.

I hope at the end of everything, the principal pig too bites the dust, for he is as rotten as the rest of the bullies. Also that shiver from Maria isn't her being scared by the pig's seriousness, it's them both being startled due to the chill they felt from Taiichirou's stare laced with killing intent.
