Also, the pacing of the manga has really gone down hill. It should have been fast and satisfiying. The author is really dragging this out by making the bullies supervillians.

They make you like a character before killing them for maximum trauma points.

I wouldn't be surprised if he died but early-on Maria at the start i would've expected her to think of him as 'expendable/an acceptable loss' or sacrificial pawn or so

That's the sad and often common fate of revenge on bullies manga.
Can count with one hand the amount I've seen where the people getting revenge'd don't have that happening, specially so when the leader of the bully friend group is a super keikakumaster with a IQ of 500000 gorillion who makes L and Light combined look like dumb toddlers and is capable of controlling entire governments from the shadows at the age of 10 just because he's just that charismatic or whatever all so he can keep his bullying going that also always has some 10deep20you reason for why the bullying happened.

God, I hope not. I don't want Okaya to be some omniscient mastermind. I would rather have the guy that stabbed Ajiki to be one of the many bullying victims they tortured. Would be more fitting since the group have been dropping like flies and many victims would think its their time to strike.

The One who attacked Maria said something about having to do it because of her family, and 2 students attacking people with knifes at the same day sounds like a planned thing, so odds are someone forced those 2 to do it.

I agree. It seem to me he loved his wife more and kinda treated his son as an after thought. As far as I remember he seemed more broken up about the divorce than his son seemingly committing suicide. He was like "We don't have to get divorce let just have another kid and everything will be back to normal." I could be mistaken though. Though, honesty I just hope they don't get back together and he sacrifice himself to motivate Maria to live once more. Maybe getting together with the seemingly nice P.E teacher?

oh my. well,now he's either gonna survive the stabbing and throw another wrench in maria's plans even if she didn't send the kid out to do it (and i doubt she did since she wouldn't want the blood on the kid's hands for the sake of her personal mission) or he dies and the ringleader instantly suspects her.

Sure but I meant like not necessarily going to some hookah bar or loudly bragging about it unless ppl are always doing drug tests on the way back too, tho considering men are basically forced to do 2 years of military service letting them do weed is the least they can do unless you get some monthly check/stipend even after discharge or so but I imagine ppl still work rather than “retiring” in their 20s after their service lol

That said there’s a huge drinking culture in Korea but sucky if you dislike alcohol or the hangover isn’t worth it (tho considering they have a dish literally called hangover soup I guess it’s socially acceptable to be a drunk there xP)
