The untranslated Japanese text in page 4 actually said:
"and it was even near a dolphin research center"
Can't tell if that section was:
1. Mistranslated to the Reagans staying at a hotel that had dolphins, or
2. Not translated, so the dolphin hotel the Reagans stayed at was close to a dolphin research center
Given the context, it'd make more sense that it was mistranslated. Previous chapter confirmed that Yumi's mom is a dolphin researcher/ scientist so it'd make more sense the immediate follow for the text mentioning the Reagans' stay would be for it to be near a dolphin research lab, instead of just a hotel that had dolphins
