mark forums read second confirmation Why a check box ? [Rejected]

Seems very un-nessecary to have a checkbox on the confirmation popup. I can cancel by hitting the big X to close the window.
Only reason I figure is for all the dummy's who don't know what a cancel is or does.

I assume it's there to confirm you deliberately chose an action that has unreversible consequences.

Either way, you're asking about a Xenforo feature, we're not Xenforo, and even if we were I wouldn't want it gone.
