It will, but I would still see value in reading the novel, since (A) so much is different, (B) tonnes of content is just skipped.
Heck, I don't even know what's going to become of his black hair disguise.

@gluteus_maximus Ambivalent. Lots of Wuxia will leave you asking that very question, because it's a common theme in the genre.

@Wujizun, in fact it's the other way around, I almost see no value continuing this manhwa since it's just gonna be some kind of bad spoiler of the novel...

It's so common a theme that I actually got confused whatever they actually did to get branded as evil in the first place...

@PotatoZero if it keeps the current pace, the manhwa will completely outrun the novel even in the raws given the author's release rate for the novel. Almost 3 volumes have been covered in roughly 40 chapters. There are only 11 volumes at present. Idk what to expect anymore

@gluteus_maximus Clearly evil? They had clear rules not to hurt civilians and not to rape women. Those breaking the rules were eliminated (like we saw). They might have been chaotic in comparison to the more formal, ordinary sects, but that doesn't make them evil, per se. Of course they were an annoyance since they apparently went around beating up martial artists left and right. But that's how you develop if you are only interested in getting more powerful.
