Isn't it interesting that in the various visual mediums the more "demonic" an entity gets the more human they tend to look? I don't think this is always a conscious decision made by creators (although I'm sure it is in plenty of cases) as much as a trope or cliche at this point, but I still find it somewhat fascinating that what people tend to find as the "scariest form of a monster" is something so familiar.
I wish I could remember when the first time I saw it was, or around when it started to become much more common. No idea why I even thought of it at this particular moment.....
