Just browsing Amazon, which I never do because I never buy shit, and depression strikes.
You just see everything in all this packaging that ends up instantly in a landfill. Of course the useless items that are completely made to just be tossed away also embitters the heart.
I don't know how the average person doesn't rage every time they purchase something. Even the food items sadden to no end, because you know they waste a third of the stuff at least. Especially with the plastic waste problem, climate change and overfishing combined. It's just so rage inducing seeing delicious smoked salmon selling for $60 when eventually they toss 1/3rd away because it didn't sell. Beef jerky too. All those poor delicious cows and fishes.
Ahhh the world is so shit. It's truly ridiculous. You see 'Hefty' plastic party cups 7 cents each. WHY? Why do we have these items even legally produced and sold? Now with this pandemic shit & restaurants closed indoors but takeout is fine. I'm raging about that as well. It literally physical pains me to eat out, besides like complete junk fast food, simply because of the collection of Styrofoam food trays they use.
We've done so much damage to our planet in the last 50 years alone that the prior 10,000 of human civilization doesn't even count as a dent. You can't blame it on simply population number. It's purely laziness. The disposable pandemic is the real killer not some 2-3% fatality virus.
TLDR: Went in a rant because humanity let me down.
