Hong Chen certainly will have a lot of work to do now. Otherwise he will be forever remembered as a total joke of a great emperor. Not to mention thanks to this incident the Azure Sun Temple will be infamous as a demon worshipping sect. Fortunately Yang Kai is just a foreign elder there and his real profession as a sect leader is far, far away in the northern lands. So, maybe he will be spared from most of the backlash.
