Every time he broke through one of the Nine Heavens Divine Skill energy auras, the road in front of Yang Kai became clearer and more spacious. After fully comprehending all nine of them and shattering the last energy aura, the entire Mysterious Small World seemed to become brighter, allowing Yang Kai to see the full extent of the Holy Tomb.
Throughout the Holy Tomb, Yang Kai sensed all kinds of dangerous Spirit Arrays. These arrays all gave off potent energy fluctuations and radiated a dangerous aura. Once someone accidentally touched one, they would likely suffer a terrifying attack.
Yang Kai could now see through all of this, that was how clear his surroundings had become. It was likely related to the Nine Heavens Divine Skill energy auras he had shattered before, the more of them that were broken, the more traps were revealed.

this was a confusing chapter..

1. why was he angry with the elder onto entering the tomb, when at the end of last chapter he appeared happy to enter for the chance of getting a saint grade top rank artifact?
2. he says 'no wonder the previous holy masters were so willing to join the sect' - but doesn't say why this is the case? and how did they 'deceive' him about tomb (them presumably being the holy elders)?

1. The elders were pretty pushy about it. They wouldn't have forced him to enter the tomb but with that many saint rank cultivators around he didn't really have a choice.

2. The previous holy masters left behind a small part of their souls to brainwash the next holy master. Every time a new holy master got near to the place where the coffins where they got brainwashed to feel like they have a deep connection with the holy land. He thinks the elders know this (they don't).
