Okay, I don't completely get this one... The first panel says 'Cursed Video' and her notepad says 'Mary Memo: Scary Outfit'. Second panel has her dressed in a fake TV box with 'CUrse' written on it (and her water bottle, lol). Third and fourth have her doing her usual call and appearance, so far so good, and then fifth panel... she just gets distracted by a noise off panel and heads off to investigate it, then in sixth panel she's suddenly interested in the pudding? Am I missing anything?

You are correct up until the 5th panel. In the fifth panel she is playing her character as Sadako. Since she is playing Sadako her eyes are covered, so she can’t see. The fifth panel show Mary- San pathway after getting out of her “TV”, but since she can’t see, she bumped into some thing, hence the “Tud” sound in the fifth panel. The sixth panel she’s moving her hair to see where the lady is.
