Nah it's fine, criticisms exists because there's still room for growth, I don't take them in a bad light instead I'm trying my best to compensate for what I'm lacking that got pointed out 🫡

This setting is particularly anachronistic. You have power generators and Yakuza-looking thugs casually juxtaposed against classic sword & sorcery fantasy. Anything can happen at this point.
So MCs attacks and abilities are just manipulation of raw non-elemental mana. Might as well call him a manamancer.

Maybe he didn't and only showed up for a dramatic cliffhanger? Maybe the girls already got there but weren't shown because the chapter was already busy enough?

Possibly, but until shown otherwise I'm going to assume that he's so narrow minded that he kicked puppies and babies out of the way while the girls kept getting sidetracked by helping solve every problem they encountered. Including issues created by some asshole who was kicking puppies and babies.

The story is quite good, the characters are likeable (except for the (ex)hero of course), but not really a big fan of one guy all female. Hopefully there will be another good male character

He's looking a little rough, so my guess is he went straight through the forest, while the 2 girls took the road. Or they're there already and just haven't been shown yet.
