i understand the reasoning of teaching him common sense to an extent.. but why the need to make the "world bigges treasure" researcher not being allowed to do more research as side projects? trainees will be able to train their magic, which he will be unable to. will he be forced to do even more physical training then, instead of allowing him to shine in his best skills?

i'm curious how this series will move from here.

I dont get this. We have the person who created the light bulb, radio, AC, stove, refrigerator etc. Also is the strongest person, comes from the strongest family, also is the smartest person in the world yet somehow... his goal in life is finding a measly job, his family helps him in that despite knowing how revolutionary his designs are, how powerful he is and how much money he should have made. Also he can see power levels which means he knows how op his family is yet is surprised by some soldiers.

This is why many japanese authors are dissapointing with their mc's. This mc is op and ignorant at the same time. You cant make a mc that understands magic completely yet be so ignorant about it. If the author didnt draw that "I can see their power level" page it would be ok but to see a person have a 100 mana level send a 100 mana level attack and say he is going easy is dumb and cant even use the his family can make a 100 ml attack with just 1 mana excuse since he somehow sees their control level too.
