@Autumnbear - Their bias is showing. Bread without milk? I see it all the time, but in Hokkaido they have something called "Milk Bread", and they are famous for it. It's good stuff. Secondarily, in this chapter Usagi used the word "お菓子" (o-kashi), which is usually translated as "sweets" or "candy" in reference to the box full of different breads that Yuzu-chan dropped.
@Northern - I was thinking the same.
All: Forgive me for sometimes being too literal with the expressions used by the Japanese, which can come off as rather formal in English. To be fair, though, this manga is not one in which the men (as few as they are) speak very informally. Masaki is always polite and humble in his speech, as befits his current mental state. We have no idea what happened to him yet, and we can only hope the story will reveal those things as time goes on. This series is currently at seven volumes and seventy-one chapters, with no end in sight. Volume 8 will be released in two weeks.
