It's still confusing as hell and there's still no clear answer as to what the Red Fox(es?) are trying to do. And to top it all off, Chris isn't even an official Fiancé yet! I could've sworn Ain took care of that when he appointed her as his and his Mom's personal bodyguard again but it really was just that.

Okay so I did a full re-read of this one.

They're (Red Foxes and another group of people) trying to ruin the First King's—now MC's happiness, but for why, no idea as of yet.

I also reread this from the start, so that's a YOU problem. (no offense intended XD )

Anyways, MC already but accidentally declared his love towards Claune to the King and his two advisors but MC has yet to confess his feelins of her.
For Chris. Her love for MC is already known to the King and some of his close aides, even the Elves themselves (especially Chris' childhood friend and the Elves' Elder) has already an inkling feeling that Chris has feelings for MC but Chris is still unaware of her feelings to be that of love or not from what I can surmise. (Tho, she loves to be with MC and loves to see MC's smiling face)
