I predicted it a chapter or two ago, but it seems the third prince will indeed get a redemption arc. Ah well, i always knew Ain was quite soft, so kind of expected it. It wouldnt surprise me that by the end of the arc, he'd reconciled with his former family too... I still wanna know WHY (i forget his name), Ain's former father broke the secret covenant and announced his second son as head? Dunno about a redemption arc....
It's more that the princeling has gotten a number of very harsh reality checks in short succession. And as a result has had to re-assess his entire reality. Including the fact that he has been acting like a spoilt brat and incredibly stupid up until now.

His balls have finally dropped, and he's finally growing up.
