I don't get the "cringe" of this chapter, for a little guy shouting to those nobles who he was and what he's going to do for the country, that's was kinda cool.

Yeah it makes sense. Thought she might be something akin to a dowager in status who might kneel before the emperor but not a crown prince.

@prothy yeah I would also think she should not have to kneel to anyone other than the current King but who am I to say so. This is all mostly supposition about the fictional world we look at.

I see a lot of people talking about how stupid or cringy or impulsive he is to be doing this, but they seem to be forgetting he is basically a preteen/barely a teenager. I think he is like 12 or 13 here. Even if he has all his memories from his past life, he is still in the body of a teen; AKA a seething pot of hormones.
He saw his fiancee and girl he liked/loved, who came all the way from another country to be with him, getting shit on, treated like something dirty and unfit to be her, and likely about to be hit.
In addition this is a girl who one of the only people to treat him and his mother with kindness and respect when his own father slighted them.
She is also someone who is sweet enough to hear the shit they are saying about her, but still able to put on a brave face try to cheer him up/make sure he is having fun.
On top of all that he realizes that the situation parallels his and his mother's own in Hyme and dredges up all of that baggage.
Combine the above with the roiling hormones and lack of impulse control someone his age would have, speaking biologically since his body is that age despite his mind likely being older, and I am surprised he stayed as composed as he did. While they didn't really show it he was probably seething with rage and it is probably only thanks to his training that he didn't just attack the asshole. People seem to forget how young his body is and just how much hormones can influence your thoughts/actions.

@RigobertoParedes It's pretty bad that anyone needed to be shouted down in the first place. It's contrived, and more importantly the MC tacitly approves people venting their random frustrations on unrelated people. Oh sure he says 'vent them on me' like anyone can or would. Then he does the metaphorical equivalent of whipping his dick out and yelling "King Kong ain't got shit on me!" so everyone's supposed to be awesome now because rah rah, prince national power is our pride. Except how does that sentiment work out after he dies? Like, okay, back to being resentful assholes to everyone because casting shade is easier than fixing our own shit? Our country is great because our crown prince can bench press a boat? He rapidly shifts from not quite defending his guest to ham-fisted PR stunt complete with exaggerated poses.

tldr, it was a bit too much self aggrandizing proselytism and commiserating with the grievances of the dickhead and not enough clamping down on said dickhead's dick-ass behavior in the first place.

You know, I don't feel that it's fair to hate on the "dad"... I mean, the MC wasn't his son and his mom never slept with him... but the MC is supposed to be his heir??? They should be mad at the irresponsible princess who got into a marriage but wouldn't sleep with her husband or bear his child but expected him to love and care for them...
