rave was kinda good but it suffered from a very unpolished events in each arc thou he pushed his creativity very much with it
fairy tail on the other hand did have the possibility to succeed the first arcs were very polished in terms of events but it goes downhill after he secure a good amount of fans and start writing shit with his ass
for his last work he didn't attempt to bring anything new to the table just a mish-mash from his previous works because he already secured a bunch of fans that'll read any shit he write
as a author he seem to care more to push his sales rather than creating something that make him proud and remembered
