Oh look, another story that a large amount of the audience, can't read
Okay, so for those who want LN spoilers here you go. Been a while since I read this so my memory may be a bit rusty.
Sex. Lots and lots of sex. The story reason for the sex is that the MC, Kizuna, needs to ejaculate into the girl's wombs so they can power-up etc.
While there's a lot of sex in the LN, the main focus is on Kizuna (17 years old) and his biological older sister Reiri (24 years old). They have tons of sex, and when I say tons I mean tons. Yes, I'm talking about full-on incest.
Kizuna and Reiri had always been sexually attracted to each other ever since they were younger. Reiri used to touch Kizuna when they were in the bath and Kizuna groped her breasts when they slept together when they were younger (I think Kizuna was 9 while Reiri was 16). They both enjoyed these things. This all culminated later in the story when they needed to perform Climax Hybrid together to provide a power-up, which means they needed to do perverted stuff together. To both of their surprise, they were extremely excited at seeing each other's naked bodies and really enjoyed doing it. Reiri was extremely happy that Kizuna could get so excited seeing her naked body (which is described as the perfect sexy body), and Kizuna likewise. After this, they started to do Ecstascy Hybrid (sex) a lot more. They eventually entered a secret relationship as lovers as neither of them could repress their desire or love for one another as a man and woman anymore, and effectively stopped being siblings in their hearts. At a later point in the story Reiri even ends a conference of country leaders early and has her brother brought to her simply so they can fuck over and over. At this point they do it for hours on end, over and over, until deep into the nights. Fun tidbit; their mother jokingly commented that because they fuck so much Reiri is the girl most likely to get pregnant first out of all the girls in Kizuna's harem. This is because they always do it bareback and Kizuna always ejaculates inside her. Basically, they're absolutely crazy about one another.
There are other girls in the harem that Kizuna is in love with and fucks too, of course. But not nearly as much as he fucks with Reiri. Reiri is actually very possessive of Kizuna. She'll allow the girls the occasional night with Kizuna, but then she takes him back in order to monopolize him for herself. She even abuses her authority at times to monopolize Kizuna. Such as taking a whole week off so she could spend that entire week off getting fucked by Kizuna. The other girls in the harem obviously don't like how she monopolizes him, and is cause for some comical moments.

While you're right in general about the constant sexual activity and that there is incest, the incest is not front and center 24x7 like you imply. It's an H-novel so there's going to be sex. The author even jokes in the end notes of one book about how he went too far in that direction at one point and his editor chewed him out for just writing a porn novel without any other plot. The sex is an integral part of the science-fictional aspect of the story; the sexual excitement of the characters is transformed into life force by the alien hypertechnological implants that were "installed" in their bodies to give them the superhuman abilities they need to fight the otherdimensional invaders. The catch is these implants burn life force to power these abilities; use them too heavily and the user can even die. Kizuna's implant is the one and only one that can reverse this, replenishing the life forces of the girls he has sexual contact with (not always penetrative sex, though that is found to be the most effective way) so they can return to the battlefront (and powering himself up into the bargain, as he is able to duplicate their abilities for a short time afterwards).
The manga adaptation leaves off at the point where things start to really get problematic in terms of the amount and types of sexuality being presented in the LNs. It gets really really hot and heavy after the Tokyo operation; they managed to mostly skip past the (very) problematic storyline of Silvia's HHG installation but it would be almost impossible to elide all the sex from that point on, as it is integral to the story.
Here's a very high-level plot summary of the remaining LNs as I saw it. After Tokyo the story shifts to the Alternate Universe. It is revealed that the reason the AU invaded our universe is because their universe, actually a kind of pocket universe with only one planet, is collapsing; it was sustained by "magic power" but for some reason the source of that power dried up. Kizuna and Reiri's mother (Professor Hida Nayuta, who discovered the HHGs when some of them fell into our universe through a dimensional rift caused by a collision of our two universes) determined that the "magic power" was actually life force, which could be manipulated by the technology of the creators of the HHGs (who also set up the magic power supply to the AU). She also figured out that those creators were themselves extradimensional entities, "Machine Gods," and if she could decipher their technology before the AU collapsed she could become a Machine God herself. Which she proceeded to do.
However, in the process of all this, the Machine Gods noticed that someone was monkeying around with their technology and they came to see what was up. It turns out that the AUs universe was simply an experiment they had set up to investigate their own origins, but they considered the experiment a failure and had set it on a course of self-termination before moving on to consider their next move. Unfortunately for our universe, the AU collided with ours and linked the two together, so the destruction of the AU would quite possibly also destroy our universe. ( Which would be bad.) Having inferior beings figure out their technology was a threat to their own existence, so they moved to directly destroy the problematic upstarts and their universes. And in this they succeeded; but they didn't notice the new Machine God (Hida Nayuta) make a backup copy of all the information defining the two universes before they were destroyed.
After the Machine Gods finished destroying our universes they returned to their respective home parallel universes to think about what to do next. In the meantime Hida Nayuta secretly created a new pocket universe containing only the former Ataraxia Academy and its inhabitants, including all the members of the Amaterasu and Masters combat teams. After getting their bearings Nayuta revealed that she had made backup copies of the two destroyed universes, but there was so much data that she had to break it up into 4 parts and hide them within the bodies of the other Machine Gods. So the new quest was to defeat the Machine Gods one by one (so they wouldn't just destroy us again) and recover the data so Nayuta could recreate the two universes. And that's what happened. But there were two final catches. First, Nayuta had to sacrifice her physical existence to recreate the universes; second, once recreated the two universes would permanently separate fairly quickly, so everyone had to decide which universe they wanted to live in for the rest of their lives. That caused much angst and tears, and not a little farewell sex. The End.

@txtracer Damn, yeah my memory was REALLY rusty. What stayed with me the most was the sex apparently. It's memorable if nothing else. Thank you for that.
I have absolutely no recollection of the last paragraph, especially the farewell sex. Now I'm not even sure if I read the ending anymore. That's damn sad. I'll have to reread it all at some point. As for the farewell sex, did Kizuna just do it with all of them at that point, including his mother? Which girls stayed in their universe? I assume all his harem girls did at least.
Also, did Kizuna have kids with any of the girls or does it just abruptly end after the "not a little" (I assume that means a lot) farewell sex?

Kizuna did make it with everyone at one point; it was necessary to power up for the final battle. Took a 2-day orgy of Kizuna and 25 women and girls to pull it off, and in the end he got temporarily killed anyway. (He got better.) The farewells were more one-on-one.
Almost everyone stayed in their original universes. Ragrus decided to stay on Earth with her BFF Sylvia; she was an orphan and had few ties to Vatlantis. Valdy became the pledged bodyguard of Reiri and so remained on Earth. And in the end Grace forced Aine to follow the right course and stay with Kizuna on Earth. It's heavily implied that Gravel became pregnant, and it's possible Zelcyone did as well.

Gravel and Zel are confirmed pregnant, and at least Gravel talks to Kizuna whenever their respective worlds are close enough together to communicate. Also of note is Reiri gets pregnant.
Also, know it's wishful thinking, but I like to think at some point (regardless of plot details) they'll be able to reconnect the worlds to travel between them again and Gravel and all the other girls will come back to their beloved Kizuna

@mittalyashu There are chp 5.5 and 10.5 too. So thats why it totals to 28. The raws are also upto chp 26 with 5.5 and 10.5 included.
