I'm sorry for doubting Akane! She did nothing wrong!!
hmm but since she made such a clean break with her old boyfriend and managed to give away her baby safely and return to highschool, how did she caught up with Mitsushima? It doesn't seem like she's desperate to make big money in the criminal underworld, so I don't see what Mitsushima could have either offered Akane or threatened Akane with in order to get her to go with him and cooperate with him.
Could it be that Akane never cooperated with Mitsushima the whole time? Mitsushima just found out about the pregnancy story from those other thugs, found out from the cop that her stepdad was rich and was raping her , deduced that Akane faked killing her baby and then got his thugs to rape her to try and pressure her to.. what? retrieve her baby and use it to claim the inheritance then give it to mitsushima? but why would Akane give the money to mitsushima anyway? it's not like he can force her at knife point to go to a lawyer's office or a bank. And Mitsushima's dad is meant ot be a successful lawyer anyway so he shouldn't be motivated so much by money so much as control or a sense of power.
Mitsushima must be blackmailing her with something or otherwise she'd just go to the cops after being gangraped, or that time she escaped and just ran around tokyo with a hoody rather than going to the cops or her family.
Ohh Mitsushima must have somehow found Akane's baby and is using that to threaten her so she doesn't go to the police. Yeah the baby and Ao are the only things Akane would risk herself so much for and Mitsushima didn't know about Ao.
So he was probably stalking her then happened to find out.
Then the question is , does he have Akane's baby or did he just tell her " I know which family has adopted your baby and I can kill them and take your baby whenever I want" ?
Because if it's the former and he has Akane's baby then why would she run and try to evade him for multiple days? surely she'd do whatever he wanted rather than risk him harming the baby.
And if it's the latter and he's just saying " I could kill the family looking after your baby" then wouldn't Akane have tried to get her baby back herself?
Akane being blackmailed using the baby makes a lot of things make a lot more sense but I'm still not sure for the reason behind her actions in the first few days since the timeloop was activated.
For example , why did she call Ao one day and ask him to meet somewhere but not when that day was repeated? If Ao was worth relying on one day , you'd expect her to rely on him other days.
Dang if only Ao was more sociopathic and just repeated the 3rd or 4th day continuouosly using as many random bystanders and hobos as necessary until he found his sister. until it just got crazy like "100 bodies suddenly appeared at 12 am!"
