Thank you for translating this all the way to the end, Snowy Scans. It was not updated for so long, that I had forgotten the entire story and had to re-read it over again from the beginning, but I don't regret doing so.

The ending was somewhat predictable, but I can see why the author didn't want to do anything that might make readers dissatisfied. In all honestly, I feel like it was probably the right decision. An ending that was different just for the sake of being different is often much worse than a "traditional" one.

This was my favorite "villainess" story, it's also one of the best martial arts mahnwa. I really like the Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon vibes.

However it really rushed to the end and some of subplots got ignored, like:

• ML being the prince and heir to the throne;
• Why the blond uncle loves MC so much;
• The original Main Heroine "Mulan" story arc. She was the most interesting character and I wanted to see more of her
• Will the original ML and FL be together?

For people who are somehow dissatisfied with the end of the story (which doesn't include me, I love happy endings) please remember that the webtoon story is DIFFERENT from the original novel. Considering the rigorous schedule of webtoon development as well and deadlines for artists, don't be surprised if they WERE rushed.

I enjoyed reading this. It was a good time to come back to Mangadex. This was certainly a rushed ending, but it was nice. I hoped to see the meeting with the Jade Emperor and learn more about her ascension to divinity. Will she eventually become a full divine, or will she join her beloved in the afterlife as well? Also, can she still have children with him? There are many questions, but a simple ending is nice, too.

that's exactly how I feel, since she changed the future of the novel by like 20 years a lot of character are not developed and the Sword king and clan leaders are basicaly useless in the final fight.

It feels like this was originally a really great, well written story, but then something terrible happened. Like, right before sending the original manuscript to the publishing house, a 6-year-old somehow got ahold of it and replaced the ending 1/3 with some nonsense scribbled in crayon, and when the publisher saw it they just shrugged and sent it to print anyway.

I'm glad that it got an ending at all, but it was... well, it was something.
