@JaneJeon In which way, exactly? He's considerate but the same can be said to the main dude. I don't see how he's better in any way.

Also I guess it's time for the supernatural tag to live up to its name, I saw that and was wondering why that was there but here we go I guess

@Krowley literally right after the 'gopher' act dropped, Ayase is continually being nice+considerate (besides the occasional trolls), sincerely supports Kayama as a person (and a gf), and in this chapter, even respects their wishes to break the curse (even though it wasn't exactly how Kayama planned it), etc, etc.

Whereas the Mori we have seen so far is literally NOTHING BUT pushy. Nothing but asshole behaviour. Just nonstop expecting the girl Kayama to fall for him, it's like the kind of dudes who just can't take 'no' for an answer and is being VERY clingey AND thinks they deserve the girl (hell, have you *seen* his remarks at the party?!). I have had really bad experiences with men IRL and online who acted just like this with me, so yeah, I'm very adverse to Mori as a bf material AND as a person!!

@JaneJeon What the fuck, where did you see that? Main guy literally said a chapter or two ago he doesn't mind her not falling in love, in fact he's the fucking champ for being straightforward in his feelings. You are literally viewing this through some kinda biased lens because blondie and mc are the exact same except blondie exists for drama reasons so no, he's not better.

@JaneJeon Wait, what party? I haven't read past this chapter yet so this is only about up to chapter 4
All I've seen up to this chapter so far is a guy who had loved someone for years, told her that he loved her, and never got any sort of actual answer. He eventually decided to make it absolutely clear that he's not just saying that he loves her, and when she realized that she agreed to go out with him. He wasn't persisting after she said she didn't want to go out with him (she literally never gave him in answer), he was just letting her know that his feeling hadn't changed.
After she agreed to date him, Nogata was understanding that it'd be hard for her to go from being friends for so long to loving him, he made it clear to her that he'd wait however long it takes for her to get to that point.
Nogata gets angry that the friend comes up and says he loves her, but that's completely understandable, considering he only did that AFTER they had already started dating, which is a complete dick move.

And I'm just now realizing that I'm replying to a year old comment, but I've already typed it out so fuck it

Fuck it, replying to the little over 4 y/o reply.

I'm with @Machrischt, you summed it up nicely. She thought he was joking, and finally he let her know that this entire time he wasn't.
