Nah, Japan to EU server is not that bad, probably around 150 - 200ms, its still very playable. Issue came after 250ms.

that didn't stop people around the globe playing Crossfire in the US servers while having 600-800 pings.

Trust me, people can play FPS games with high ping just fine...
