Author probably haven't actually played those kinds of games.
I mean rank up should come automatically or there would be a whole bunch of people huntin newbies. Cause it doesn't require player to create a new account to do that.
There are also various other questionable mechanics in this game that would take a bit more text to go on about but i'm too lazy to point them all.

Not that i'm reading it for the game though. Characters are entertaining enough. At least so far.
